Here’s a look at the 2022 campaign’s impact.

Thank you to our staff from Chandler's Building Safety Division for their time last Saturday to raise the awareness about the importance of building safety. They spent the morning talking to residents about their work (and of course building safety) at the Lowe's on Arizona Avenue.

So proud of two of our outstanding young inspectors, Fernando Cardenas and Torie Winton, promoting the department and Building Safety Month at the City of Las Vegas.

If you ever thought about being an inspector, the City of Las Vegas is the place to do it!

Come on out this weekend for another event with the City of Rochester Hills Building Department. This week we will be teamed up with our Fire Department, OCSO and our local Lowes store. This is an opportunity to get information on Building Safety Month and some of the cities regulations for some home projects your thinking about doing.

“We have come a long way in how we get the message out, how we demonstrate solid building safety protocols, and how our communities participate. In my earliest years leading Building Safety Month for the City of Alexandria, our public outreach entailed weekend booths at local home improvement big-box retailers. Ten years later, we’re executing a well-planned, fully scheduled, wholly supported community event.”    – Peter Mensinger, CBO, Department of Code Administration, City of Alexandria, VA
